LOS ANGELES - March 4, 2020 - Aleem Hossain's debut feature was filmed over four years in and around Los Angeles and addresses contemporary issues surrounding environmental pollution, immigration, and inclusivity. Aleem's gritty portrayal of LA locations, Julie Kirkwood's cinematography, and Blain Hossain understated VFX is glued together by a stand out performance from actor Brian Silverman.

The film had its world premiere at Sci-Fi London where it won Best Feature Film. Aleem won Best Director at Berlin Sci-Fi Film Fest and the film went on to win Best Cinematography for Julie Kirkwood and Best Ensemble Cast at Austin Other Worlds.

After We Leave had its theatrical release at the Arena Cinelounge in Hollywood in 2/20 and sold out 4 of 7 shows.
