LEICESTER, U.K. - March 4, 2020 - On Tuesday, March 3rd, Simon Lyons launched Geco Hub, a wall-mounted "3D noticeboard" organiser, on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter. This was following a successful appearance on the British TV show The Customer Is Always Right in late 2019.
Geco Hub is wall-mounted storage for the stuff you always need to hand. It can be installed without screws, seamlessly tiles together with itself for expanded storage, and can hold 3D and 2D objects pushed into it in 5 different ways. It also assembles without glue or fixings.
On The Customer Is Always Right, popular YouTubers test three products per episode and give them an overall score. The product inventors discuss the feedback with host Lucy Alexander. The product with the highest score wins that episode.
The overall feedback on Geco Hub from the YouTubers was very positive and, following strong demand from viewers off the back of its television appearance, Simon is now taking preorders through Kickstarter to raise the funds needed to bring Geco Hub to market globally.
As the inventor of Geco Hub, Simon had this to say. "Starting life as a student project several years ago, it was hard to imagine Geco Hub getting to the point where it has been on TV and now launching globally. It's exciting and nerve-wracking in equal measure! A lot of work has gone into the Kickstarter campaign behind the scenes, so I'm hopeful we'll meet our funding goal."
