CENTURY CITY, Calif. - Feb. 3, 2020 - After making history in 2019 by becoming the first known Black woman to franchise with the WGA and as the only WGA franchise in Atlanta, The Jackson Agency led by Tiauna Jackson has signed seasoned writers Miranda Bowden, and Nicholl fellow William Sutphin.
Creative Miranda Bowden is currently senior scriptwriter for Bentley Kyle Evans' Bent Outta Shape Productions. Bowden is an industry veteran and has been a finalist in Color Creative's ABFF Script-to-Screen, Charles D. King's Macro Episodic Lab, Creative Lab's Script-to-Screen, and Write in Color. Additionally, she has served as Story Consultant for TRUTV, and Story Editor for an Ali Leroy project.
William Sutphin is a graduate of Columbia University with a Master's of Fine Arts in Film. He is a DGA student winner for his short film. "Uncle Killa," which aired on HBO. He is also a Cosby Screenwriting Fellow and Nicholl Quarterfinalist.
Together Bowden, Sutphin, and Agent Tiauna Jackson will work together to bring fresh narratives to the entertainment community.
