POTTSTOWN, Pa. - Jan. 28, 2020 - Illumination Community Outreach's SOBAR SATURDAY'S Kickoff event Saturday January 25th 6pm-9pm at Rivster's on High 250 East High Street, Pottstown, Pa was a huge success!
SOBAR Saturday's, which will be open the last Saturday of the month every month at Rivster's on High will be operated by volunteers of Illumination Community Outreach 501c3. SOBAR will serve as an alcohol-free gathering space for those looking to have a social life outside of standard bars and restaurants. The menu will be an exciting mix of light faire and a large selection of non alcoholic drinks, sodas, coffee and teas. In support of our local artist and musicians, we will also have live music, an open mic and karaoke! Please join us for our next SOBAR Saturday on February 29th!
SOBAR is one of Illumination Community Outreach projects led by Claire Rivera and Genia Silva, (both who all have backgrounds in Health and Wellness, Coaching and Addiction-Recovery Support). Illumination is a grass roots 501c3 organization whose main focus is community empowerment, recovery resources and hunger relief. Illumination is currently raising funds for SOBAR to become a staple in the community and is currently seeking a permanent location as well as funding for the newly formed Illumination Mobile Task force.
