WATERBURY, Conn. - Jan. 8, 2020 - The Savings Bank of Danbury staff have continued their tradition and adopted a family for the Holiday.
The committee works in conjunction with the United Way of Greater Waterbury and The Salvation Army to identify a family in need and provide gifts. Savings Bank of Danbury employees also conducted a holiday gift collection for the residents of Renewal House in Danbury, CT. Renewal House provides transitional housing for older men and women who are homeless.
"Giving back is what the holidays are all about," said Beth Ann Fetzer, Vice President and Community Development officer of Savings Bank of Danbury. "Our group looks forward to participating in bringing cheer to people at this time of year."
