Harlem's Lyn-Genet's Kitchen tackles depression in 2020

MANHATTAN, N.Y. - Jan. 2, 2020 - New York Times bestselling author and anti-inflammatory nutritionist Lyn-Genet Recitas tackles depression and inflammation as part of her year long wellness lectures for uptown residents.

Tame the Flame- Depression and Inflammation, is offered the first Wednesday of every month. Attendees are taught about low inflammatory diets, meditation, stress release and healthier lifestyles.

Over sixty million Americans suffer from depression. New research shows that depression is linked to inflammation and lowering inflammatory markers through diet can result in remission.
