SARASOTA, Fla. - Dec. 31, 2019 - Can you think of art as savory, comfort food on a cold winter day? For the New Year, think soup and sandwich: the soup to warm you up, the sandwich to fill you up, and perhaps a few cookies to sweeten your day and make you smile. For the warmest visions in contemporary art, take a look at Barebrush.com.
Wishing you Peace, Prosperity and Beautiful Art
Ilene Skeen is pleased to launch the Barebrush January 2020 Art of the Day Calendar -- where the art of the day is yours to see, enjoy and treasure.
From inscrutable expression to the threshold of realty....
The Barebrush January calendar includes paintings, drawings and photographs. Ting Seated, an expressive figure study by New York artist, Jon Rettich, launches the year. A semi-abstract sketch, Crawling into Real by Barebrush founder, Ilene Skeen, closes the month.
January art for 2020 features 31 artworks by contemporary artists, eight appearing on Barebrush for the first time by artists Jon Rettich (1, 8, 14), Tony Lee (2), Robert Markey (4), Patrick McGauley (6), and Peter Wong King (13, 22).
December 2019 is now completely visible on the Barebrush website. Be sure to look at the completed December calendar. January will be revealed day by day.
Each day has its individual art. Just click on the calendar link at the end of this sentence and you will realize that all will be revealed in time...
