Metal shops are a dime a dozen in some areas of the country – our location in Northeastern Wisconsin is a prime example – but not every shop has the custom steel fabrication capabilities we offer for a wide range of project types. Badger Sheet Metal Works continues to invest in high-performance equipment that elevates our efficiencies for the benefit of our customers.

A quick look at our company's history illustrates how consistently the De Caster family has invested in the business throughout nearly a century of operation. The most significant of those investments continues to pay dividends today in the form of the custom-designed plant we have called home since 2008.

We can take on custom steel fabrication projects, including specialty orders such as duplex stainless steel fabrication, on a much larger scale than many competitors thanks to the lifting capacity within our plant's 70-by-320-foot main assembly bay. Two cranes within the assembly bay have a total lifting capacity of 30 tons and a 22-foot under-hook height, delivering enough power and clearance for most large-scale projects.

Although our plant's ability to handle larger projects differentiates us from much of the metal shop crowd, that doesn't mean smaller projects are no longer in our wheelhouse. Quite the opposite, in fact, our shop is configured to manufacture and assemble a wide range of custom steel fabrication projects.
