Dr. Claudio V. Cerullo was honored by the Philadelphia 76ers with the Heroes Among Us Award. The Sixers Heroes Among Us awards people in the Greater Philadelphia area who have made exceptional and overwhelming contributions to better the lives of children in the community.
Most recently, Dr. Cerullo received an Anti-Bullying Citation Award from the Camden City Council and a Citation for Outstanding Service from the PA House of Representatives in May 2018 as well as the Goodwill Global Humanitarian Award in late summer 2018.
He is interviewed regularly by many local and national media outlets on the subject of Bullying and School Violence including ABC, NBC, Fox News, CBS. KYW and CNN News, as well as several radio and talk shows.
Dr. Claudio V. Cerullo and West Chester University received the Outstanding Service Award in Urban Education from the School District of Philadelphia Board of Education. As Director of the Delaware Mentoring Council, Dr. Cerullo partnered with Mayor James Baker of the City of Wilmington in establishing a new mentoring proclamation, the Wilmington Mentoring Commission, to help promote youth mentoring and lower the high school dropout rate to all at-risk youth within the City of Wilmington.
Dr. Cerullois an Associate Member of the Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists and a member of the Association for Elementary and Secondary School Principals.Now, internationally recognized as an expert on the subject of Anti-Bullying and School Violence Prevention, Dr. Claudio V. Cerullo has provided many workshops on these two issues within the P-16 community and beyond. He is interviewed regularly by many local and national media outlets on the subjects of Bullying and School Violence and is a passionate public speaker on this topic.
