AUSTIN, Texas - Dec. 2, 2019 - After We Leave has North American premiere at Other Worlds Austin on Sunday, December 8 at 5:05 pm.

After We Leave is a gritty sci-fi drama about a man who has a once-in-a-lifetime chance to emigrate off Earth… if only he can find his estranged wife and convince her to come with him.

Aleem Hossain's debut feature was filmed over four years and deals with contemporary issues about immigration, inclusivity, and the environment. The film's use of Los Angeles locations, Julie Kirkwood's cinematography, and a mesmerizing stand out performance from Brian Silverman is a lesson in what can be achieved in contemporary independent filmmaking.

The film has its theatrical release at the Arena Cinelounge in Los Angeles from February 21, 2020.
