What is Black Friday?

Black Friday occurs every year on the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, and is followed by sales continuing until the next Monday, named Cyber Monday. Retailers often mark down seasonal products or end of stock items, but in recent years they have added more things to the sales. You may even be able to find your favourite products marked down by as much as 1/2 off or more.

What are people spending their money on?

According to MarketingWeek, one in four shoppers are planning to make a purchase at this year's Black Friday deals. Some of the product categories that see the biggest discounts are:
