November 19, 2019 - The event is free to attend and will be held on 16th Feb, 2020 at Federation Square, Melbourne with a crowd of hundreds and thousands present.
The Categories for participation are:
1. Singing: Solo singing with your choice of song.
2. Dance: Solo dancing with your choice of dance style and music.
3. Music: Single composer with your choice of instrument, lyrics, tunes.
4. Stand-Up Act: Single performer with your choice of genre.
5. Modelling: Ramp walk with your choice of clothing styles.
DESI YOUTH FEST is presented to you by MYDESISTAR- an establishment formed by four great personalities Nick Bahl, Shinkoo Nabha, Dharmendra Patel and Rupinder Brar with a mission to fill in the gaps between the South Asian community and the Film Industry. Accordingly, Vikram Phadnis, Director and Fashion Designer is picked as the Creative Director of DESI YOUTH FEST.
The list of South Asian ethnicity that can participate are:
- India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Fiji, Malaysia and Maldives.
