VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Nov. 16, 2019 - Strategic Organizing announced that it is changing its corporate name to Digital Union Lab. The organization will continue to provide online training to union activists.

The purpose of the name change is to better reflect the changing nature of union communications.

Digital Union Lab will focus on providing high-quality online training for union activists in a way that is accessible to everyone.

The changing nature of digital media means that it is possible to put people together in a conference with a number and caliber of speakers that wouldn't otherwise be possible with traditional union conferences. There is a disconnect between the type of training that union activists need to be able to access to take them to the next step and their ability to access this type of education.

By using an evergreen digital format union members it will be possible for union members who have been unable to attend these types of events to receive high-quality training on digital activism, digital organizing, union organizing without barriers and costs associated with traditional union education.
