JMA Pilani Annual Day Junior Section Scintillating Performances

Lead school in Pilani Smt Jamuna Mishra Academy JMA popularly called as the school with 100% results was established in the year 2004 at Pilani which is considered as Oasis in the desert state of Rajasthan. Matter of Pride that alumni of JMA Pilani are pursuing higher education in various institutions which include Birla Institute of Technology and Science BITS Pilani which is one of the Institutions of Eminence and Banasthali Vidyapith which features in Times Higher Education THE World Rankings as one among the best 3 - 4% global universities and Second Best Women’s University in the world.


JMA Pilani celebrated the Annual day for Junior section on 10 Oct 2019. The Chief Guest was Dr Suman Mishra Chairperson of the school who had flown all the way from USA to grace the occasion. Following the traditional welcome, the chief guest offered flowers to Goddess Saraswati deity at the school entrance. After lamp lighting by the chief guest and other dignitaries, Principal Mrs Booma Natarajan gave the welcome address highlighting credentials of the chief guest and shared the academic as well as sports achievements of the school and the celebrations of various days of significance such as Children’s day, Grand Parents day, janmashtami, world hand washing day etc.

The onstage programs started with Saraswati vandana. The Padharo mahre Desh Rajasthani dance presented by the junior students was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. Itni si hansi itni si khushi dance performance by the students made everyone get the feel do not worry be happy. The students were at their very best of performance for the song Today is Sunday joyful day item. The dance performance for the song My name is Madhavi highlighted the diversity of Indian culture and the powerful message of National Integration. The passion packed performance by the students for the patriotic dance made everyone feel Be Indian and be Proud to be Indian.

The Chief Guest in her inspiring speech congratulated the students and teachers for making the annual day celebrations truly unforgettable. She also urged the parents to take Swachh Bharat Abhiyan as well as environmental issues seriously and requested them to bring up boys and girls with equal care and concern so that gender bias is removed once for all.

The program anchoring was done by students of Class VI Bhoomika and Payal guided by the teacher Mrs Diksha Sharma. Junior section coordinator Ms Priya Mishra proposed vote of thanks and was felicitated with a special award for her seven year contribution to the school. The program ended with National Anthem. When the celebrations ended, the students and parents of JMA who had come for the function left with beaming faces and pride that they were indeed part of an institution which is a shining jewel in the crown among the schools at Pilani.
