STROUD, England - Nov. 2, 2019 -When Cas recorded Maddy's opening phrases of 'Hold On' in the grounds of a 16th Century Gloucestershire coaching inn, the magic began to happen. With a few fragments of Maddy's powerful and emotive vocals, Mikey stitched a slow, compulsive funk groove together and Cas called upon Henry-Cameron to give the track the soulful vocal vibe with his magic dark brown voice. But Henry-Cameron was in Belgium, Cas was in the UK, Mikey was on top of a mountain in the South of France…

But, listening to the track, you'd never know.

With Stroud the home of Extinction Rebellion, it was only natural that Cas would be touched by the movement. 'Global warming is in everyone's thoughts and Kuhl wanted to send out a subtle message to the world with this song', says Cas.

'I spoke at length with the sadly missed Polly Higgins about her fight to raise awareness around the issue. Hold On is what we came up with.', Cas remembers.
