The Reno2 Z clearly a step up from its predecessor, trying to quickly make amends to capture a wider audience. Featuring a slightly larger 6.53-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen, then there’s the Gorilla Glass 5 protection to provide the assurance that we need. The fingerprint sensor under-display makes for an easier way to unlock the smartphone.

Under the hood of the Reno2 Z is similar, except for it having only the 8GB RAM option. The combination of Helio P90, blazingly fast Octa-core processor and superb graphics makes for a very fast device.

There’s no denying that the Reno2 Z is a definite winner over here. Blessed with a 48MP+8MP+2MP+2MP quad primary camera combo, you will be taking loads of high-quality pictures with it. Not to mention taking selfies with splendid effect, with the pop-up 16MP selfie camera that hides in plain sight when not in use.

Another advantage of the Reno2 Z is the 256GB internal storage option and the availability of the microSD expansion slot that can take in an extra 256GB of space.

One last thing, the Dolby Atmos sound system found on the Reno2 Z is a definite winner for those looking for great sound. You get to enjoy crystal clear sound coming out from it, as you listen to your favourite songs and watching your favourite videos – hours after hours non-stop.

Conclusion:

Oppo Reno2 Z fills the disadvantages of its predecessor, but at a slightly higher price tag. If you consider everything in, then you should find a better value for money with this latest release.

Oppo Reno2 Z had just been released for 29,990 Indian Rupees or ~425 USD and is available in either Sky White or Luminous Black colours.
