BOSTON - Sept. 30, 2019 - The Women in Pensions Network (WiPN) is pleased to announce that tomorrow, Tuesday, October 1st, 2019, marks the organization's tenth anniversary. "Over the last decade, we have grown by leaps and bounds," according to Melissa Cowan, WiPN President and Executive Director at Morgan Stanley. "We are especially proud of the growth in our 27 regional chapters, which opens up networking, quality programing and mentoring to more women in the retirement plan business at the local level."
WiPN President-Elect Daniella Moiseyev and CMO at the American Retirement Association shares that members across the country will celebrate October 1 as Women in Pensions Network Day on LinkedIn by acknowledging women in the industry who have inspired or mentored them. "Especially within this industry, I think we all have a story about a woman who has helped us during a critical point in our careers. And I know that for many of us, WiPN has played an important role in that, because we're all about making connections that count."
"We are so grateful for the leadership of our past presidents, the support of our valued sponsors and strategic partners in helping us get to where we are today," says Moiseyev. "We can't wait to see what the next decade holds!"
The Women in Pensions Network (WiPN), founded in 2009, is a national non-profit organization with over 1,000 members, 50 sponsors and a reach of 4,000 retirement industry professionals.
