Danse4nia, Philadelphia's Leading Multicultural Conservatory, Announces Return Of Nia Sundays

PHILADELPHIA - Sept. 28, 2019 - Antoinette Coward-Gilmore, founder and CEO of Danse4Nia Repertory Ensemble, Philadelphia's leading multicultural dance conservatory, announced the return of Nia Sundays, to its adult dance series this Sunday, September 29, 2019 2:30 PM at the Studio of Danse4Nia, 143 West Walnut Lane in historic Germantown.

Created as an organizational fundraiser for its board of directors, Nia Sundays, held every 4th Sunday of the month, will unite world-class instructors with dancers from all backgrounds and will consist of two 1.15 hour mixed level classes. Led by Kim Rollins, belly dance begins at 2:30 PM, immediately followed by jazz dance with Wayne St. David, curricular head of jazz dance at the University of the Arts and Danse4Nia resident choreographer.

"With three decades of dance performance and education under my belt, it is a pleasure to teach adults eager to express their creativity through dance as a part of Nia Sundays," states Wayne St. David jazz dance instructor and Danse4Nia resident choreographer. Danse4Nia's mission aligns with my personal values and I'm delighted to collaborate with Antoinette Coward-Gilmore to bring purpose to movement with the Adult Dance Series."

Nia Sundays joins the conservatory's Studio40+ dance class for mature adults, taught by Patricia Scott Hobbs, Barrymore Award winning choreographer and the Horton Technique, led by Danse4Nia Founder and CEO Antoinette Coward-Gilmore, already in session, to complete the organization's Adult Dance Series.

"At Danse4Nia we dance to inspire ourselves and others toward positive personal, social and cultural change," comments Antoinette Coward-Gilmore, founder and CEO Danse4Nia. It is a privilege to present the Adult Dance Series, which provides an intimate platform for adults to explore their purpose through dance."

Danse4Nia's Adult Dance Series is held at the Studio of Danse4Nia, 143 West Walnut Lane in historic Germantown and is open to adults from all walks of life interested in exploring dance and movement as a means by which to find purpose or those simply interested in expressing their creativity through dance.
