In the global arena, the importance of Hindi can be judged by the fact that the hugely popular and highly acclaimed social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter etc have included Hindi versions. The Constitution - makers of India, decided to accord the status of Official Language of the Union to Hindi written in Devanagari script on 14 September 1949. To commemorate this historic occasion, Hindi Diwas is observed every year on the same date.

JMA Pilani has a rich tradition of observing various days of national and international significance. For 2098, Hindi Diwas competitions were organized during 11 – 14 September. Nursery and LKG students recited their favorite Hindi rhymes on Rhyme Time competition. Students of class VI to VIII enthusiastically participated in Hindi recitation competition. Hindi debate competition for classes VI to XII and the topics included J & K Jammu & Kashmir Article 370 Retain or Remove and Coaching class boon or bane.
On 14 Sep 2019 morning assembly students recited poems and spoke about the significance of the day. On the final day, Hindi poem writing competition and Hindi essay writing competition were also conducted. When the celebrations concluded, the students and teachers left with beaming faces and pride that they were indeed part of an institution which is a shining jewel in the crown among the schools at Pilani.
