September 20, 2019 - Matrix New World Engineering (Matrix) announced plans to expand its Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) expertise within its Ecology group, welcoming Senior Project Manager Kimberly Threlfall. Ms. Threlfall brings her extensive experience with environmental projects to the firm, enabling Matrix to grow its already successful Ecology Services group.
Ms. Threlfall is a recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) and LEED AP, specializing in the development, management, review, and coordination of multidisciplinary projects that focus on compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). She has managed all project stages, including adherence to NEPA, New York State Environmental Quality Review (SEQRA), New York City Environmental Quality Review (CEQR), and Connecticut Environmental Policy Act (CEPA).

Ms. Threlfall’s expertise includes numerous projects for the PANYNJ, CT DOT, NYCDPC, FAA, and National Park Service, including the JFK Airport Redevelopment, New Haven-Hartford Springfield Rail Program, Rehabilitation of Heroes Tunnel, Philadelphia International Airport Capacity Enhancement Program, and many more.
Ms. Threlfall holds a BA in Geology from Colgate University and participated in the Woods Hole Sea Education Semester Field Program. She is a member of the Women in Transportation and the National Association of Environmental Professionals.
