D20 News Network Endavors to Be Role Playing Game News Service

AUSTIN, Texas - Sept. 15, 2019 - The D20 News Network is in the final two weeks of a Kickstarter campaign to launch as a bona fide news service for a community of creative storytellers.

Tabletop Role-Playing Games, or TTRPGs, are a growing topic of interest on YouTube, with series like "Critical Role" playing Dungeons & Dragons, among other series, online to tens of thousands of viewers.

For the untold number of casual gamers who stream their games, or those who sell TTRPG-related products like dice or adventures of their own, exposure doesn't come easily.

D20NN has launched with an earnest effort to put those creators in the spotlight, giving them a better chance of exposure on the internet.

Structured like a mainstream news service, D20NN reports on the activities of TTRPGs who submit material to the site. There is also an investigative unit looking into customer service complaints or social issues affecting players within the community.

If D20NN meets the $2,000 Kickstarter goal by Saturday, Sept. 28, a pilot will be produced for a half-hour web video structured like a network newscast. Called "Multiverse This Week," the show would include interviews with TTRPG players and creators - both as themselves or even as the characters they portray.

D20NN is a unique blend of humor, soft news and genuine reporting that is attracting the eyes of role-players around the world. For more information and to see the kinds of stories D20NN is covering, please visit http://www.d20nn.com.
