As we glance through the Nokia 6.2, we can see there’s a lot of improvements here and there. Starting with the larger 6.3-inch Full HD+ IPS screen and inspired by Finnish design, it fuses craftsmanship and quality materials in a perfect balance.
In terms of hardware, the Snapdragon 636 brings a nice update together with the fast Kryo octa-core processor, decent graphics and either 3GB or 4GB of memory.
Perhaps the star of the show is on its triple primary camera, to be exact the 16MP+8MP+5MP camera setup. You will be spending countless hours on it, and snapping away freely through the course of your daily life. Then there’s the 8MP selfie camera completing the package.
Battery-wise, the Nokia 6.2 gets a nice bump up in battery size with the 3500 mAh battery now powering up the smartphone. It should have no problem to supply enough juice to last it for a full of charge.
As for the software, it is good to know that it now comes with the latest Android Pie 9.0 operating system equipped with Android One. Everything will run more smoothly, as there won’t be any bloatware to slow you down. You can also look forward to the upcoming Android 10 and an additional three years of security updates – which further extends its shelf life.
Conclusion:
Nokia 6.2 is a nice upgrade for this year, and it does bring a host of improvements to keep us updated with the times. Large 6.3-inch IPS screen, great looks, good mid-range performance, great triple primary camera, decent battery size and the Android One operating system makes for a compelling package.
Nokia 6.2 is expected to be released very soon on October 2019 for an estimated price tag of 199 Euro or ~220 USD for the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant and 249 Euro or ~275 USD for the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant. It is said to be available in two colours, namely Ceramic Black and Ice.
