WENATCHEE, Wash. - Aug. 20, 2019 - PetHub.com, the leader in modern pet identification, announced today its PetHub Perks program offering members deep discounts from select national partners.
PetHub Perks provides businesses with a platform to showcase their products and services to PetHub's users. "PetHub's award winning lost pet recovery tools and services have made it a trusted partner in the lives of pets and their owners" explained Lorien Clemens, Vice President at PetHub. "PetHub Perks provides participating businesses an opportunity to be promoted year-round in select member publications, online and more," she noted.
The Perks pilot program soft launched on July 1, 2019, with a select group of businesses working closely with PetHub to help improve the new customer benefit. With that feedback, the company is working now on its Beta version, set to release the first quarter of 2020. The Beta release will feature tools for businesses to better understand the value PetHub users are placing on those special deals.
"Because of the positive feedback we've received from both pet businesses and pet owners alike, we're expanding our launch to accept more businesses looking to reach our users in a safe, secure and trusted way," said Clemens.
"We're all about continuing to deliver customer happiness through new features and valuable benefits for our users," said Tom Arnold, Founder of PetHub, Inc. "Our original innovation of providing the world's first digital pet ID tag has lead us to be the identification and lost pet recovery partner to hundreds of thousands of pets and their owners. The onus is on us to continue to build on that trusted position."

PetHub, Inc. , was started in 2010 by former Microsoft employee, Tom Arnold, to combat the issue of low RTO ("return to owner") rates for lost animals. Combining software with a physical ID tag allows anyone to help a lost animal get home again quickly, often avoiding a trip to a vet or a shelter. The company's tags are now in over 250 communities in the United States as their pet license or rabies tag, and nearly 20,000 new pets are being added to the website monthly.
