Composing and writing music has always been seen as a forbidden city for most. After all, how many people know how to do it? Not many. And for those who do learn this art, many years of advanced study is usually required.

But pianist, composer, and 'New Age' piano teacher Edward Weiss sees no reason why anyone can’t create their own unique music.

“I teach students how to complete a simple 8-bar phrase first. By working in small sections, would be composers learn how to complete something quickly and easily. And once they can do this, they begin to understand how most music is created in sections. After that, it's all down hill.”
