HIGH WYCOMBE, U.K. -- Equipment

Coffee preparation is not hard task. Firstly make sure that your equipment is thoroughly cleaned after each use whatever you have, - a coffee maker machine or just a cafetiere – a simple device found in any household can bring out the flavour of your coffee beans.

Coffee

Of course coffee itself is important. You can experiment with huge variety of brands and makes till find the one you like. Also you can mix beans for your own flavour and great combination. Coffee is best when used within days of being roasted and it is smart to purchase in small amounts, and to keep it no more than two weeks or less in air tight container.

If you are using coffee beans obviously you need to use coffee grinder and try to grind your beans as close to the brew time as possible. The size of grind does impact the taste of your coffee – grounded too fine can give you more bitter taste than coarse grind what makes your coffee taste more flat. Although finer grind yield more flavour.

Water

So, there we go. Take two level tablespoons for every 6 ounces of water (and again this could be adjustable to suit individual preferences). Using bottled spring water (recommended) is best option to obtain best taste alternatively run tap water cold for a while. Approved boiled water temperature should be 90-96C to get it rest just boiled kettle for a minute and then pour over your grind.

Brewing

Now brewing your coffee where less time means sharper taste. Optimal time should be two – four minutes and you can experiment with brewing time until you have cup of coffee that suits your palate perfectly.

Enjoy your coffee immediately, don’t let it stand long and get cold (also to reheat your coffee is bad idea). Pour your brewed beverage into warm cup smell aroma, take a sip and remember – this is the coffee you have made.
