When you get a r4i gold 3ds, maybe you will meet many problems, such as black screen, no card insert or error etc. Here is how to fix these problems.

Problem1: The screen show: menu?

This is because you put a wrong kernel in your r4i gold 3ds (game4deal.com), go to the official site to download the newest kernel, unzip it, put all files into the root of sd card , then put the roms (.nds files) into the sd card also. insert the sd to r4i gold 3ds, put r4i gold 3ds into your console, done.

Problem2: The screen show: “an error occurs” with black background and white words.

Step5: press A to start
