NEW YORK - July 24, 2019 -Sunday, July 28th, 2019 will be a Kool & the Gang celebration in the Big Apple as the longtime hit making pop/funk group (known for hits such as "Jungle Boogie", "Hollywood Swinging", "Ladies Night" and their #1 pop smash, "Celebration") will be honored for fifty years of music at the Harlem Week Festival by the city of New York. The event will take place at U.S. Grant National Park in Harlem.

Following the ceremonies, Robert "Kool" Bell – one of the founding members of Kool & the Gang - will unveil his Le Kool Champagne vintage at an invitation only event. The champagne is the result of a partnership between Bell and the France-based House of Berthelot.

Afro Pop star FATi will be performing her upbeat hits, "L.O.V.E. Love" and "Queen" at both the Harlem Week Festival and the Le Kool Champagne debut. Born in Liberia, FATi is the niece of Robert "Kool" Bell and will be making her live performance debut at these events here in the states.
