WENATCHEE, Wash. - July 19, 2019 -The Paine™ 420-52-0010 Series pressure transmitter is a single crystal integrated capacitance sensor that provides high stability and high reliability in downhole and subsea environments.
The Paine 420-52-0010 Series stabilizes rapidly to thermal effects while exhibiting excellent long-term drift behavior. The thermal transient error is less than that of higher priced sensors, allowing for larger continuously changing thermal gradients with fewer errors. This Paine 420-52-0010 Series stability allows for an increase in duration between zeroing, unlike typical piezoresistive sensor specifications.
The Paine 420-52-0010 Series packaging and electronics are developed for operation to 347°F (175°C) and working pressures up to 20,000psi (1379 bar). The rated to a proof pressure of 25,000psi (1723 bar) and a burst pressure of greater than 30,000psi (2413 bar).
All wetted materials are Inconel® 718 annealed and aged to a maximum hardness of 40HRC, making them acceptable for use in any equipment or component at 375°F (191°C) where the partial pressure of H2S is less than 2500kPa [3]. The units are 0.5" diameter, with the length 2.8" max. Pressure accuracy is better than 0.02% Full Scale (FS) over the calibrated temperature range, including effects of hysteresis and non-repeatability. Long-term stability is rated to 0.02%FS/year at maximum calibrated pressure and temperature.
The digital output of the Paine 420-52-0010 Series is a Raw Period Modulated Oscillator Digital with an incorporated 500Ω RTD that operates down to 2.9VDC with very low current consumption of 2.5mA maximum at 5.5VDC .
The packaging and electronics of the Paine 420-52-0010 Series is customizable for a wide array of solutions. Process adapter fittings can be readily customized to fit customer applications with minimal non-recurring engineering.
