The sapphire in this case is much more than a precious stone. The video, which has now had over one million views in less than a month, is the fastest climbing release for Shannon to date.
The young artist, singer Shannon K was born in India, moved to London at the age of 6 and now lives in New York City. At a very young age she battled a lisp and those close to her never would have imagined that one day, she would become a singer. She began her music career at the ripe old age of eight years old and has never looked back. Shannon truly lives and breathes music as her style dances around from Pop, Soul, Contemporary Pop, Blues and even Soft Rock. At such a young age she has not yet settled on one particular genre or style of music and seems to love them all in fact.
