Sludgetek Ltd provides quality services to both the waste disposal and manufacturing industries all across the UK. Due to rapid expansion over the past couple of years they have recently re-located to a 700 square metre office and workshop complex on the West Portway industrial estate.
The company's managing director, Peter Cramp, explains the reasons behind the move, As we took on more contracts we outgrew our previous premises near Reading and when we had the chance to move to Andover we jumped on the opportunity because along with a much larger yard and storage area this location has great access to the UK motorway network.
Sludgetek has been in operation since 2001 and is based on Cramp's 30 years experience in the business. They supply industries such as the oil and gas industry and the waste water industry with mobile processing equipment all across the British Isles. They currently provide servicing and repairs to decanter centrifuges such as Westfalia, Hiller and Alfa Laval. To visit their website go here:

They are also ISO9001:2008 certified which means they have a recognised quality management system in place which ensures a very high quality of workmanship. As standards go, ISO 9000 is one of the most widely recognized in the world. The ISO9001 is one of the category of ISO9000 awards and is an invaluable tool that presents guidelines intended to increase business efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Cramp goes on to comment, Our range of sludge dewatering and thickening rental equipment is built and maintained in house to the highest standards, and supported in the field by our team of service engineers.
Cramp is looking to use his large new premises to expand his business over the next 24 months. His goals for the company include increasing the rental fleet, growing their engineering team, improving both their service and repair turn-around and ultimately increasing their product portfolio.
