Alpine Academy in Review as The No-Complaints Leader in Changing Troubled-Teens

Alpine Academy, a Residential Treatment Center operating in Erda, UT, has today been recognized as being a front runner in the realm of effecting change in the lives of troubled teens. This news coincides nicely with Alpine Academy's recent recognition as a community-reviewed favorite, due to Alpine Academy being part of a non-profit organization that serves children, parents, and families all over the world through a variety of organizations, from free online parenting classes to foster care, to residential care.

Alpine Academy has been operating in the Mental Health market for 15 years and competes against notable businesses such as [New Haven RTC](http://www.newhavenrtc.com/) and [Solstice RTC](http://solsticertc.com/). They have been able to make such a strong impression on the market and gain reputation by being the only private placement residential treatment center in the country that is accredited by the Teaching-Family Association. The use of the model ensures that the care they provide encompasses all aspects of the treatment process, from therapy to school to the milieu. This is a research driven, and evidence-based model for teaching skills to youth in a strength-based approach.

Jason Stout, Alpine Academy's Marketing Director spoke about its recent recognition, expanding on some of the decisions and motivations that led the business to the level it has currently reached.

€œWhen Alpine Academy was founded, it was made abundantly clear we wanted to be the kind of company that focuses on solutions not complaints, and we knew it would take a mindful and strategic resolve to improve each day to provide an even better influence for the youth than the day before. It was clear we wanted to be that company that is known in the therapeutic industry as being a premier treatment provider that uses best practices to provide quality care and effect lasting change in the students they serve. One of the biggest challenges we faced was how to implement the model in all aspects of care; residential, academic, and therapeutic. Fortunately with some good people behind us, and a strong sense of the true need to collaborate and welcome reviews and constructive feedback across divisions along with a general lack of pride that led to a 'no-complaint' attitude that one division or individual was more or less important than any other allowed us to create a truly collaborative approach, we were able to overcome every obstacle and really hit our stride."

Jason Stout also reviewed Alpine Academy's future plans that involve improving the after-care work with students and families. "Our newest position of hiring a full-time after-care coordinator that is available to all families free of charge is a huge leap in the right direction. It's the hope of our company that we can show people that once you are a part of the Alpine family, you are always a part of our family and we will always be there to give the love and support to be successful in life."

Alpine Academy plans to maintain its position at the forefront of effecting change in the lives of troubled teens for years to come, building on its success, finding new ways to contribute to the lives of the youth, serve its Utah community, associates, and the world at large.
