Artists Wanted For New Online Exhibition Space On StoriesToArt $5,000 Cash Prize

Newly launched website StoriesToArt, a collaborative online exhibition space for artists and art lovers of all genres across the United States, is inviting artists to apply to the Call for Artists and have their work and artist's profile featured on the website, The call includes cash prizes up to $5,000, acceptance on a first come, first serve basis, and a deadline of March 31, 2016.

Participating artists, artisans, poets and songwriters are invited to submit a piece based on at least one of the stories provided in the call, and may submit up to five additional works with their own accompanying inspirational stories. Respected StoriesToArt judges, artists in their own right in various genres such as ceramics, painting, sculpting, music, poetry, photography, jewelry and textiles, will select up to 400 artists to exhibit on [StoriesToArt.com](https://storiestoart.com) and vote for their top 12. Judges are: Randy Bill, Cathy Bollinger, Miriam Carter, Michael Fitts, Peggy Harrison, Karen Landon, Ned Oldham, Claire Raymond and Amy Wilton.

Judges will also vote for their top 12 artists. The top three artists' profiles will be published on StoriesToArt and all 12 finalists will have their art featured. Significant cash prizes will be awarded to the 12 finalists: $5,000, $3,000 and $1,000 cash will go to first, second and third place respectively, whilst the other eight finalists each will receive $500 cash.

The premise behind StoriesToArt is that stories and art are intrinsically connected, and whether communicated via visual, word or music form, each unique and personal work is inspired by certain events or moments. Through the new website, art lovers and art collectors can be inspired by a work of art that resonates equally with them.

Buyers can choose exclusive ready-to-ship art, or commission art, poetry or songs for themselves or as a gift. Artwork is offered in a wide range of prices to suit almost any budget and occasion. With StoriesToArt, artists receive 60% commission for their works. Opportunities to obtain artworks gratis will be available through StoriesToArt's story contests.

StoriestoArt supports artists from every genre as well as recent art school graduates and gives back to the community by granting 5% of profits to the StoriesToArt Gives Back charitable foundation. StoriesToArt Gives Back helps charities and schools by providing commissioned artwork from StoriesToArt artists, poets and songwriters.
