Learning How to Manage Type 2 Diabetes with Good Nutrition Making good nutritious choices is one of the best ways to manage Type 2 Diabetes, but seniors can be overwhelmed with complex and often conflicting information that makes it hard to know what the right choices are. Seniors will learn to cut through the confusion and make healthy, even life-saving choices.

At the same time, it's critical to know how to increase activity safely to avoid dangerous swings in blood sugar. Seniors will learn what symptoms to watch out for and how to progress safely with increased activity and/or exercise.
When asked about the reasons behind creating this event, the host of the event, Darla Verfurth said:
"I've been working with seniors for more than 15 years to help them live healthy, happy lives. I'm committed to helping them any way I can, and this is the kind of information I would want my own parents to have. I'll be presenting life-changing information in a humorous way so attendees will be entertained and educated at the same time."
