New Article On How Film Artist Went Berserk In Woods For The Cause Of Happiness

[](http://www.matejocepek.com)[Matej Ocepek](http://www.matejocepek.com), an artist for film & sound in Europe, set up an investigative scheme concerning his fears; he stayed for 30 days in wild nature. He did not have anything, apart from a diary and his camera. He desired to record instances of his 'mad experience' when he mentally and physically discovered he was not the only one present in the forest and that to live, he needed to battle animals. When he was extremely ravenous, all types of negative situations were produced in his mind; scared and mentally disoriented.

Being a city individual who never took a nap in the forest on his own, never viewed the Bear Grylls show and who never imagined he would need to kill a fox and feed on it for survival, his trip was an investigation which did not come anywhere close to being comfortable. Following a couple of nights inside the forest, each negative element escaped his mind and he simply desired to return home. He stated that at no time did he envision how hard it would be to sleep without anything, with each of those weird sounds near his ears urging him to simply give up the investigation and return home.

However, he made a decision to do it, regardless; not due to some strange award, but because he desired to show he was capable of doing it. That he had the ability to be courageous and was prepared to lose his life according to his will.

Following the project, Matej stated: 'The instant your mentality begins to consider you a flop as you never 'walk the talk' then the aggressive personality inside you becomes frightened. At all times, you give up when faced with a huge project, barrier or objective in your life€¦'

Because his entire investigation turned into a mind game with his personality, the experience in the forest pressed him beyond the end of his comfort zone. Here, he needed to battle his personality to remain composed. He stated that he desired to truly know how his mind would react when it encountered new fear or extreme hunger. At times, simply strange chanting and pounding on woods assisted him to hold on to his sanity and take pleasure in the moment of liberation which he previously had not gone through.

'Each person requires to experience a feeling of strength mentally, to attain fascinating things.' The wish to lose his life in the forest and leave everything as it ought to be was the most vital lesson he learnt inside the forest. After he discovered the sole barrier in the race of his life to joy is his mind, then he knew how strong human beings are. They are able to do whatever they want in an instant!'

Subsequent to 30 days, Matej resolved he was not going to create a documentary movie about his mental challenges, but a Film-Book project in 9 Chapters. Here, every chapter will portray his 'insight explosion' or 'challenging impact' at one point of his journey.

Definitely, the movie is not for each person; however, it is for people who adore viewing art films and derive pleasure in imaginative sounds using headphones. Some wonderful beats and tunes are available, recorded by the artist on location, with nothing more than a number of wooden sticks.
