Her Jazz/Horse series is, in the artists words, "is unlike her very consciously painted American Archetype/Icon series. They simply sprang onto the campus where her artistic impulses basically controlled only the composition. This Jazz/Horse Series being shown €“ many for the first time," are muse driven from the prime of life force within that can get sterilized. Despite some of the perceived erotic overtones this merging with the other brings out of psyches from isolation and the illusion of time and gives a glimpse of that eternal pulse of life outside of time. It can be the door to a deeper spiritual and spirited life "

Candace Eaton grew up on Long Island. She started drawing and painting in her early teens and has continued on through today. Once she graduated from college she has continued to paint and draw and has supported her artistic endeavors through commercial work through her independent and portrait work as well as being a freelance court sketch artist with Newsday, then WABC and other major stations as well as News 12 Long Island. Wine like her art "is transformative from the grapes to the glass, for all sacred ceremony to daily good times ....evokes this transformative essence"
