New York, NY - What do you get when you combine a stand up comedian who is now the official advice columnist for Playgirl Magazine, a drag entertainer whose highlights include being a guest conductor at Carnegie Hall, and a shaved head r&b singer with a tattooed hairline? Answer – a quirky public service announcement for Rock & Rawhide, a non-profit organization that provides toys to animals in shelters. The PSA clips arrive just in time for the winter season, as one is Christmas themed and the other targets the holidays in general.
In addition to starring and writing the clips, Robbyne Kaamil is best known for her stand up comedy, including appearances on Howard Stern and BRAVO. She has recently launched her advice column in the legendary Playgirl Magazine. Her co-star, Lady Clover Honey, co-hosted the tv series Under The Pink Carpet for three seasons and has been a mainstay in the NYC nightlife scene for nearly a decade, most recently in The New York Post’s Page Six gossip column. The clips are directed by Lovari, whose single “Still In Love” reached #1 on iTunes R&B Chart and his latest song “Touch Me” (feat. Robin Byrd) was featured and reviewed on Good Day New York in the fall of 2015.
Rock & Rawhide is a non-profit 501(c)3 which aims to increase adoptions and quality of life for dogs and cats in shelters, by providing toys to animals in shelters.
