QUEZON CITY, Philippines -- As one of the Filipinos’ favorite couples Maya (Jodi Sta. Maria) and Ser Chief (Richard Yap) prepare themselves for parenthood, both are unsuspecting that they will be in for a double treat in the March offering of “Be Careful With My Heart Rewind” with English subtitles for non-Filipino speaking viewers on The Filipino Channel (TFC) worldwide.
On the first episode of the kilig-serye airing on March 8 (March 7, Pacific time), the whole Lim household prepares for Nikki’s (Janella Salvador) birthday celebration. On the day of Nikki’s birthday, all her friends arrive wearing costumes. Niccolo (Marlo Mortel) arrives as RRomeo, the famous characterfrom Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet. Nikki, meantime, reveals herself as Hollywood icon Audrey Hepburn complete with an all-black ensemble, plus a small tiara. Maya and Ser Chief come in as an airplane mechanic and a flight stewardess, respectively. The highlight of her birthday party is the awarding of the Male & Female Stars of the Night wherein Niccolo and Doris (Tart Carlos), dressed as a mermaid, are named as the winners. Nikki also expresses her utmost gratitude to all her friends and family who are present in the party. In an unexpected turn of events, Maya is rushed to the hospital the following day because of her feelings of uneasiness and faintness, which worries Ser Chief and the kids.
The Lim household continues to worry about Maya on the second episode airing on March 15 (March 14, Pacific time). Even her mother, Nanay Teresita (Sylvia Sanchez) gets so worried that she decides to fly from San Nicolas to Manila, with the help of Ser Chief, just to take care of her pregnant daughter. After all the medical tests, Maya and the rest of the family, are surprised because of twice the surprise they receive from her doctor – Maya and Ser Chief are going to have twins!
On the third episode of the series this month airing on March 22 (March 21, Pacific time), Ser Chief is still worried about Maya’s condition but happy at the same time because they are going to have twins. Even Nikki, Abby (Mutya Orquia), and Luke (Jerome Ponce) are excited to go to the hospital to visit their mother, Maya. After days of staying in the hospital to monitor her condition, Maya finally gets discharged from the hospital. The following day, Ser Chief invites Maya to a vacant lot where their future house is to be built. This excites Maya more, especially now that baby twins are on the way.
The final episode sees Maya busy with her mommy duties including financial expenses of the family, and being a hands-on mom with Luke, Nikki, and especially Abby who have taken interest in joining an oratorical contest. Maya also creates a guideline for the family in order for them to lessen their expenses, proving that she is really ready to be a responsible mother to five kids.
