Seattle, WA – Down North, a rock-soul-jazz blend band based out of Seattle, WA, has released their soul-funk, high-energy music video that sets the scene for the flood of talent and audience captivation this band delivers.  With over 20 years of combined raw skill, the dynamic group has a flair for the soulful, hand-clapping and catchy rhythmic sounds that audiences, and the music industry as a whole, have been missing, and craving – whether they knew it or not.

Down North is on a mission to make crazy, soul music relevant again and bring it back to the mainstream. Staying true to that, the “Heartbreaker” music video set in Seattle and directed by Bob Suh, gives off exactly the cool, groovy vibe that audiences would expect at any of their shows. Reminiscent of the locale, style and feel that would ooze off of other local artists like Jimi Hendrix and Quincy Jones.

In their front man, Down North delivers a powerful and impressive lead vocal found in Anthony Briscoe, reminding audiences of James Brown, Michael Jackson, Prince and Jackie Wilson. To add to their eclectic style and down home reputation, Down North is proud to have featured legendary Jabrile "Jimmy James" Williams on guitar in “Heartbreaker.”
