LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The popular prayer website introduces what it calls 'recommended prayer for you' to help its readers quickly stumble on prayers related to the prayer they are saying at the moment. According to PRAYHoUSe description of a 'recommended prayer', it may share the same topic as the prayer a reader is currently saying, or it may come from same Scripture book or chapter, or "ultimately, the Scripture verses may convey similar messages."

Founded on June 14 2013, PRAYHoUSe's mission is to help thousands of Christians around the world regardless of denomination, pray according to the Will of God that He may hear us all (1 John 5:14). PRAYHoUSe has since grown in number of original prayers and readership to become the 'largest Christian prayer directory on the Internet' with over 10,000 prayers from the Scriptures for different situations. With consistent daily prayer addition, PRAYHoUSe continues to grow larger.

When explaining why it introduced 'recommended prayer', PRAYHoUSe wrote, "we suggest a closely related prayer for you, to keep you praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17)." Prayers from PRAYHoUSe typically come first with a Scripture verse, following a short original prayer based on the verse. PRAYHoUSe has roughly 25% of its 150,000 readers from United States, 6% from Kenya, 4.5% from South Africa, and 4% from United Kingdom; accounting for nearly 40% of its total readers.
