QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. -- This week on Rock and Roll 101, Daniel, your host, digs up an old favorite that hasn’t aired in a couple of years -- the musical Thanksgiving Feast. The show begins this Sunday (November 17) at a special earlier time, 6 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, on KQCK Internet Radio.

To listen, log on to http://kqck.com, and click on "Listen Now" for the streaming audio.

The first segment features 25 songs about spirits, salad, appetizers, turkey, goose, dessert, coffee, and topped off with something to sooth your upset stomach! Artists include The Fireballs, Tony Joe White, The Newbeats, Little Eva, Johnny & The Hurricanes, Dee Dee Sharp, Skip & Flip, Jay & The Techniques, Tommy James & The Shondells, Jerry Lee Lewis, and many more.

The full album version of Arlo Guthrie's Thanksgiving classic "Alice's Restaurant" occupies the break, and Julie London's take on "Yummy, Yummy, Yummy" is the Cover of the Week.

To mark the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy's assasination, we'll go Album Tracking with Vaughn Meader's The First Family, a classic satire LP that sold over 12 million copies after it was released in November of 1962. The Vintage Tunedex features Billboard's Top 10 from the week of November 23, 1963.

So, for a different spin on the golden oldies and regional hits that time forgot, join Daniel on Sunday, November 17, for two hours of music educational fun on Rock and Roll 101, now in High Fidelity! Class is in session at 6 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, on KQCK-Live Internet Radio.

Schedule subject to change.
