READING, U.K. -- The installation of Polycom RealPresence Infrastructure into VideoCentric’s HQ in Reading, powers the newest Polycom RealPresence Video Solutions and demonstrates its ability to integrate with Unified Communications and Business Applications, as well as other market-leading Video Collaboration Solutions.
VideoCentric’s RealPresence Infrastructure solution consists of Video Resource Management to centrally manage and monitor video endpoints across the network, and gatekeeper to securely route external communications throughout the organisation. They have also integrated the RealPresence Collaboration Server to enable multiparty video, voice and content collaboration and a Video Content Management Solution for recording and delivering video content suitable for training, education, announcements & archiving.
The RealPresence Infrastructure integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Lync 2010 and powers the Polycom RealPresence Desktop, RealPresence Mobile for iPad & Android, and RealPresence Group Systems for room based collaboration, also installed at VideoCentric’s premise.
“By providing an end-to-end solution of Polycom RealPresence Infrastructure, endpoints for rooms, desktops & mobile, & UC integration, customers can easily see how the solution can work for them, how it can be integrated with infrastructure already in place, and how it can improve business communications,” commented the Communications Manager at VideoCentric.
David Shimell, Sales Director at VideoCentric added, “Only a handful of video conferencing companies have invested in technology such that they can demonstrate the same as what can be achieved at the London Polycom EEC itself. What puts us ahead is that we also have over 30 other solutions to demonstrate integration & interoperability, which give our customers the confidence that Polycom does not just support Polycom endpoints & solutions, but a host of others too.”
