MINNEAPOLIS, January 27, 2025 - Maggie McIntee has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Ms. McIntee currently serves as the director of innovation at the Mayo Clinic, a role she has held since 2021. In this key position, she oversees a capable team that includes experts in data analysis, service design and project and program management and holds responsibility for the realization of internal solutions across broad contexts including clinical practice, data analysis and industry trends. Before accepting her current appointment, Ms. McIntee excelled as the international operations manager at the Mayo Clinic from 2020 to 2021; in this capacity, she cooperated in a strategic partnership with Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, which involved moving all inpatients from one hospital to another in a single day, a task that showcased her exceptional organizational skills and earned her group the Excellence in Teamwork Award in both 2020 and 2022.
Before joining the Mayo Clinic, Ms. McIntee served as an administrative fellow from 2018 to 2020, where she gained invaluable experience through interaction with numerous leaders within the organization. Her career journey also includes roles the as administrative director and surgery center coordinator at Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos from 2014 to 2016 and she was active on the care staff at MTF Inc. in 2012. Additionally, Ms. McIntee has contributed to academia as a graduate teaching fellow at Yale University in 2018 and held various internships and fellowships that have further honed her expertise in clinical digital innovation and patient and provider solutions.
Ms. McIntee's academic background includes a Master of Public Health with a focus on healthcare management from Yale School of Public Health in 2018 and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in biology and psychology from Boston College. Her extensive education has been instrumental in her success, providing her with the knowledge and training necessary to advance in the field. Ms. McIntee attributes much of her success to the guidance and support she has received from mentors and sponsors at the Mayo Clinic, as well as the pivotal experience gained during her administrative fellowship.
Outside of her professional life, Ms. McIntee is actively involved in diverse activities and associations. She has served as a board member for the Intercultural Mutual Assistance Association since 2019 and was previously a board member for HAVEN Free Clinic from 2016 to 2017. Her commitment to community service is further demonstrated through her volunteer work with Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos , Big Brother Big Sister Foundation Inc., EagleEMS and local animal shelters. In her personal time, Ms. McIntee enjoys singing and spending time with her dog.
