R. K. Alan is proud to announce the opening of the official website for the Return to Earth Trilogy series of books. The first book in the series, scheduled for a third quarter 2011 launch, introduces Krylon Rhae, his wife Dr. Tania Rhae and his children Alex and Carla as they awaken from four years of space hibernation and prepare for their descent to Earth. What awaits them on the planet to start the recolonization of Earth forms the basis for this epic adventure series.
The Return to Earth trilogy has been the dream of R. K. Alan for more than three years. More than two years went into the planning and detailing of the concepts and storytelling. Originally envisioned as an online computer game, the Return to Earth trilogy became the vehicle to flesh out the science concepts, timelines and ever-popular gadgets and gismos SciFi fans would come to expect of any epic adventure of this magnitude.
Alan had this to say about his website, “Fans will be able to follow the adventure through short stories in addition to purchasing the book. A series of articles will delve into detail covering the social concepts, scientific principals and of course the weapons and vehicles. This added detail will allow the reader to experience the book at a much deeper level.”
The website will also provide short stories outside the book involving the characters in further adventures. Character profiles will also enhance the reader’s experience.
“I would encourage my readers to subscribe to Trilogy News, my Return to Earth newsletter.” Alan went on to say, “Distributed once per month, I’ll keep my readers informed of new articles, book progress, special events and more”
