Demarcus Taylor, CEO of D.Taylor Enterprises, started the process of acquiring this property in September 2019. During the process, he signed up with D&T Financials on building and preparing credit for the leverage of pre-approval and interest rates.

The property is within two miles of the newly developed 500 million dollar resort casino and next door to the naval shipyard. The property is also about ten miles away from the Norfolk International Airport.
