Australia’s largest privately-owned financial advisory firm Findex has announced the appointment of Chris Carey to the role of Chief Growth Officer. Designed to further support existing clients and grow Findex’s customer base in Australia and New Zealand, this new role will sit in the C-Suite of the business.



Employing over 2,700 staff, Findex provides accountancy and advisory services to more than 250,000 businesses and individuals across Australia and New Zealand. Mr Carey will be charged with maintaining this momentum and growing out the organisation’s Growth Division. “My focus will be equipping and empowering the Findex team with the technology, capabilities and a culture that will deliver sustained and significant growth in the years ahead,” said Mr Carey.

Speaking about his appointment, Mr Carey added, “I’m delighted to be joining Findex as Chief Growth Officer. Mr Carey brings over 25 years of experience in financial services to the role, having held numerous senior positions in prestigious Asia Pacific financial organisations.



Carey joins Findex from Aon Australia where he led the distribution strategy and execution as National Director of Commercial Sales (2017-2020). Carey was previously Executive Vice President (CEO) at Combined Insurance, a division of Chubb (2015-2016), Managing Director Commercial at FleetPartners (2012-2014) and Vice President of Sales, Asia Pacific at Hewlett Packard Financial Services (2010-2012).
