LOS ANGELES - June 26, 2020 - Callywood Media and Lady Zhe have joined forces to produce a 24 hour Facebook Live on July 7, 2020 starting at 7am Los Angeles Time. This facebook live features music, interviews, and fun while endeavoring to raise money to help the homeless and highlight black owned businesses. Independent Artists, Entrepreneurs and Celebrity Guests include Maryrum Ali oldest daughter to Muhammad Ali; Eric Roberson a 2x Grammy Nominated and the 2012 Soul Train Independent Artist of the year; Leslie Segar one of the original FLY Girls on In Living Color; Matthew Hatchette retired wide receiver for the NFL; Lee Purcell Emmy award winning actress and star of Carol of the Bells: Dana Dane Rapper and Entrepreneur; Zoe's Vintique; Ilene Graff an actress and star of TV Show Mr. Belvedere; Big Greg Hollywood Music and Media Awards Winner; Daryl Mitchell from NCIS New Orleans; Kathleen Bradley Author of Breaking the Glass Ceiling for Black Actresses from The Price is Right to Friday; and Richard Pryor Jr.
When Cosandra Calloway, founder of Callywood Media (aka DJ Callywood) was asked about the genesis of this event she says: " I did a 24 Hour Facebook Live a few years ago, and I wanted to revisit this again because Coronavirus has negatively affected a lot of people. This Facebook Live is an opportunity to raise money and awareness about the challenges that the homeless face while promoting black owned businesses."
This Facebook Book Live raises money for Feed The Streets which is a program that Helps the homeless in the Los Angeles Metro Area through distribution of meals, clean clothes, and toiletries. Lady Zhe will be co-hosting with Cosandra Calloway
