BRISTOL, Conn. - March 12, 2020 - MazzMedia, an Emmy Award-winning multi-media production company based in Bristol and Southington, Connecticut, has released a children's educational video designed for elementary school students to help explain what the virus is, how it spreads, and most importantly, what kids can do to stay safe and healthy.
Titled "What is the Coronavirus: Learn How to Stay Safe and Healthy", the video was created to calm the fears of young children who are worried about what they're seeing on the news or from their friends and family members. It's free and available on Youtube at https://youtu.be/2csvrUtr2IM.
"As with any difficult subjects, education is the best way to combat fear—but there hasn't been a lot of information aimed at this young audience," explained MazzMedia Producer and Co-Owner Thomas Mazzarella.
"This video can be a conversation starter and we are urging parents to watch it with their children. The information is simple, factual and delivered with no hint of alarm or fear. The video is a five-minute primer explaining what the virus is, how it's transmitted, and how kids can stay safe and protect themselves."
