NEW YORK - Sept. 17, 2019 - Danielle Ward Mason has joined Sanders Phillips Grossman's Mass Tort Department and will head the firm's talcum powder litigation.
Danielle was a member of the talcum powder litigation team that secured nearly $1 billion in verdicts against Johnson & Johnson for failing to warn about ovarian cancer risks. Her work on those cases earned her team a nomination for the 2016 Public Justice Trial Lawyer of the Year Award. She also served as lead attorney for claims involving Invokana and Reglan, and successfully litigated transvaginal mesh and Hormone Replacement Therapy claims.
"I have been extremely fortunate over my career to help my clients obtain justice against some of the worst corporate actors of our time, and I am thrilled to be able to continue those efforts with SPG," said Danielle.
Over her legal career, Danielle has repeatedly received recognition as an attorney and community leader. From 2014 – 2018, she was named to the Super Lawyers "Rising Stars" list.
