Full scale R&D ensures Carpoly a high-speed and constant development. As "National Torch Plan Key High-tech Enterprise", and "High-tech Enterprise of Guangdong Province", Carpoly has our own paint and Coatings R&D Center, and has been committed to the R&D of environmental-friendly coatings with South China University of Technology more than 8 years. In 2002, Carpoly succeeded to develop non-hazardous and non-toxic PU hardener, thus started a new page of hardener's production of China. In 2004, Carpoly's water-based wood paint project won the bid and was assessed as the stressing breakthrough project within the key field of Guangdong Province & HK, and Carpoly became the only one coatings company that got Guangdong Government's sponsored technology support fund of RMB 12M. In 2006, the first line of 10,000 tons per year of water-based wood paint was set up in Carpoly, which is also the biggest one in Asia. In 2005, Carpoly succeeded to promote "Zero VOC Interior Emulsion Paint" to the market, which VOC content break-thoroughly runs to zero. This technology keeps ahead all over China and passes international advanced standard.
Products of Carpoly now mainly include interior/exterior emulsion/latex wall paint, art textured paint, professional/industrial wood paint, decorative wood paint, and water-based wood paint. In compliance with ISO9001 & ISO14001 standard, all ranges of products of Carpoly have passed various strict tests and got many national and provincial honors.

In 2009, "E-Carpoly", the first Chinese web shopping mall of paint and coatings, was set up by Carpoly, and now customers can enjoy e-shopping and our services just staying at home.

The "National Unity Education-Assistance Project" was set up by Carpoly since 2004 to help poor Minorities' children continue their junior and senior high school.
