GEM, (Green Eco-Manufacture) headquartered in Shenzhen, China, was established in 2002 with total assets of RMB 1.4406575 billion and net assets of RMB 998 million. It is successfully listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange A share (stock code 002340), which became the first A-shares listed company in Chinese cobalt industry. The company has been named National High-tech Enterprise, National Recycling Economy Demonstration Pilot and National innovation pilot enterprises, with 1000 registered employees. GEM is a national high-tech private enterprise with national venture capitals.
Our core business is to collect and convert used batteries, e-wastes and other waste resources into high-tech products such as WPC, ultra-fine powder and other value-added products, with self-developed patent technology, so as to form hi-tech materials of ultra-fine cobalt powder, ultra-fine nickel powder, battery materials, wood plastic composites, and lead-free solders, with an annual sales volume of RMB 300 million. GEM does not use the old manufacturing mode: traditional enterprises rely on limited mineral resources as their terminal sources of raw materials, and develops a high-end waste recycling mode. We create unlimited waste resources - "urban mines", with a sustained competitiveness and broad prospects.
GEM introduced a new type of environmentally friendly product - WPC, which is made by electronic wastes, sawdust, and straw with special technology. Due to the use of renewable materials, WPC has the same properties as wood and plastic, and is 100%recyclable. As a substitute material of wood and plastic, the lifespan of GEM WPC is 10 times longer than that of common wood products. WPC has been widely used in salvers for packing, packing boxes and backing plates, doors, windows, clapboards, wallboards, floorboards, roofs, tables, chairs and outdoor balcony plates, which are used for construction and decking; all kinds of planks, fencing, gloriettes of landscapes, bridges, crawls, stair boards, courtyard handrails, flower boxes, open air flooring, ash-bins, roadsides, and outdoor stools.
